The Catholic Church grew very arrogant, and later became more popular among royalty. Drama enabled a combination of power, large scale, and dramatic intensity to be displayed. This combination was embellished with drama and theatrical shows. How was society involved in drama? Composers, poets, actors, and audience members were all involved in the performances. When women attended, they had to be covered by veils, to be in hiding. During this time period they were not always welcome. |
